In this way they can get the versatility of a dedicated amplifier, and still have a redundancy, just case the main amplifier fails.

The amplifier comes with a number of onboard effects which add to the effects that a DJ can generate by the turntable and scratching etc. Most of the high end amplifiers can be a hooked up to a Personal Computer or to a Macintosh in order to set up the effect parameters, add new effects and update the effects that are already present on the amplifier.

Speakers of DJ PA system: Generally DJs prefer powered speakers. This is because double amplification may be effectively utilized to create a number of sound effects. Moreover powered speakers can keep on throwing high quality sound even if the amplifier fails or becomes unusable for any reason whatsoever.

The speakers of DJ PA systems also include woofers in the same enclosure in order to deliver the best sound effects.

DJ PA systems are expensive and if you are not a professional DJ who does this for a living; it is recommended that you rent a DJ PA system if you want one on casual basis.
